The Simonton City Council will meet on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at 6:30 pm at Simonton City Hall for their first city council meeting of 2023. The public is encouraged to attend and to participate in sharing their thoughts and concerns via “Public Comments”.

On the agenda, are several important pieces of “New Business”. 

• Presentation of new Simonton GIS Map by LJA Engineering.
• Consider and take action to approve advertising for requests for qualifications for the City of Simonton comprehensive plan.
• Consider and take action to appoint Cody Turner, Stacey Gootee, James Bialas, Thomas McLemore and Kelli Matula to fill 5 board positions for the Economic Development Corporation A (EDC A).
• Discuss and review waste collection services contract with Texas Pride.
